Five Steam Summer Sale Deals to Grab!
Hello fans of Handsome Phantom! My name is Josh and today I will be your token “PC Master Race Gamer” giving you a tour of some great deals for this year’s Steam Summer Sale!
Below is a list of my top five Steam deals, their cost, and why you should buy them. The sale is going on now and will end on July 5, so get these deals while you can!
As a note, there are a couple of these games that I haven’t played yet, but that doesn’t mean I can’t spot a good deal when I see it!
1) Dishonored 2 – $19.99
Dishonored is a fan favorite. It’s a stealth game that also has elements of whacky magic, including everyone’s favorite teleportation power – Blink. The sequel packs in plenty of the Corvo action (the main protagonist) that you know and love, as well as Emily (The Empress) who has a whole new set of powers to try out!
I myself just bought this one because I couldn’t pass up the price!
2) Hitman (7 Episodes) – $27.93
The latest installment of the beloved series about agent 47, a hitman employed by the International Contract Agency (ICA) to assassinate high profile targets. Hitman is an episodic prequel to the Hitman series outlining agent 47’s recruitment into the ICA and his connection with Diana (his handler). Though this game wasn’t a smash hit, presumably because of it’s episodic release, everyone who played the game really enjoyed it.
I grew up playing Hitman games, so I picked this one up from the sale as well.
3) Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor – $4
Have you ever wished that you could sneak around Mordor killing orcs and crippling Sauron as a man possessed by a super-powerful wraith? Well, you’re in luck!
Shadow of Mordor is on sale for four dollars! FOUR DOLLARS! Honestly, if you haven’t played this game by now, or if you just want to go back and replay it, you can’t really go wrong with a price this low.
4) XCOM 2 – $19.99
XCOM 2 is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. It is a turn-based tactical strategy game set in a future where aliens have essentially subdued mankind. You command a small resistance that aims to cripple the alien power and restore peace to mankind.
This is probably the lowest price this game will be for a long time (since it isn’t that old), so take advantage while you can.
5) Fallout 4 – $14.99
I myself was skeptical about this one. I didn’t like Fallout 3 or New Vegas, but Fallout 4 has convinced me that this world can actually be really fun and challenging. In addition to the drastic reduction in price for the base game, the season pass has also been reduced to $29.99 as well.
So, if you haven’t played the DLC, or you’re like me and you want to give a popular series a fair try, hop on over to steam to pick up Fallout 4!
Keep in mind, this list is just my personal five picks from this Steam sale. There are TONS more deals going on right now, so make sure you hop on Steam and check out what they have to offer! Cheers!
Editor’s Note: Amazon is reportedly price matching the Steam Sale!
