Gal Gun 2 – Preview (PAX East 2018)

Gal Gun 2 is the second installment in the series from Inti Creates. I can wholeheartedly say that this game was one of the most interesting FPS experiences I have ever had. Unlike most shooters, you are trying to help people instead of harm them. You play as a normal student who is chosen by an angel to help fight demons, equipped with only a vacuum gun to help you along the way.
In this game you are swarmed by waves of demon possessed waifus. The goal is to hit the demons off of their shoulders in order to save them. Only then can you aim your ‘love gun’ at their ‘pleasure spots’…

If they reach you while still possessed you will be knocked over and this can be slightly unsettling. There is definitely an element of skill involved with this game. Aiming takes some getting used to and the targets aren’t always in close range. In addition to that, the girls pleasure spots vary. Hitting these pleasure spots counts as a critical hit which will help you to take them down quickly.
This game is very quirky and honestly just a lot of fun. At one point when trying to suck the demons into the vacuum, I accidentally ripped the clothes off of one of the girls… and I totally swear it was an accident. I really enjoyed my time with this game and I’m eager to learn more about the world and its characters. Whether it is Risu the Angel or Kurona The Demon, it seems like the world is a little more than just shooting up some ladies.
Gal Gun 2 is set to release on April 24th on Switch and PS4.
